PA-RPM 1: Legal and Regulatory Compliance

 
The agency possesses relevant licenses and complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Interpretation: The agency is expected to be familiar with all applicable, federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements. When necessary, the agency consults legal counsel to provide comprehensive necessary information regarding codes, regulations, licensure requirements, employment laws, and general guidance regarding legal compliance.
Interpretation: The network management entity annually verifies that member agencies, subcontracting agencies, and independent practitioners meet the legal and regulatory requirements to provide the services that they provide on behalf of the network.
